Be ready to answer a few simple questions relating to the viability of a solar installation at your property
Our sales team will need to know:

1. Are the solar panels to be mounted on the roof

2. Is the roof south facing

3. Kind of roof, flat or pitched

4. Any dormers or velux windows

5. Chimneys, aerials

6. Any permanent shading eg. Trees, buildings, land mass etc

7. Type of roof tile

8. Age of property

9. Listed property or area of natural conservation

10. Is the desired location of solar panels visible from a main highway

11. Access to property
12. Could a scaffold be erected

Following the information we have gathered, we would then arrange for a convenient time for a site visit and survey to be done at your property.

The site survey will consist firstly of assessing the customer’s needs, taking measurement of surface area roof space for panels, orientation and inclination, irradiance levels, type of mounting frame required, shade analysis, design location and type of inverter, type of panel, wiring method and routing of cables etc.

From the site survey results, our engineer will design the most effective system of operation for those parameters.
